Coronado Beach San Diego Engagement Photos

This engagement session was extra special and festive because it was on New Year’s Eve 2019! That’s right, Danielle and Frank, together with their sweet pupper Roxy, and I spent the last day of 2019 together!! We thought that there was no better way to celebrate their engagement than by going to the beach, spending time with Roxy, and then ending the night with sparklers.

We began at the dog park in Coronado Beach! Roxy’s favorite thing is chasing after the ballβ€”she gets so excited about it that sometimes Danielle and Frank have to spell β€œball” out cause Roxy will begin wagging her tail and will wait for the ball. We played in the sand and frolicked in the water...even little Roxy dipped her paws in the water.

Danielle and Frank shared their stories of where they grew, how they met, and most importantly, sharing their favorite spots for delicious foods around the area. After the beach, we drove to the ferry terminal where you can see the San Diego skyline, and my goodness, it was a sight to see, especially at sunset! We had a moment where it took us about ten minutes to light up the sparklers, but we didn’t give up- we just kept trying, and the moment that there were sparks, we yelled β€œYES” with such joy!!

I thank the universe for bringing us together, for blessing me with a wonderful couple with an equally wonderful dog. Danielle + Frank, you both are super stars. Thank you for the laughs and joy and food recommendations. Thank you for not giving up on the sparklers. Thank you for being you, and thank you for rescuing Roxy and giving her the best home and love that she deserves.

Sending you much love and hugs and dog treats πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›
