Edith and Julio had their wedding at one of the most unique places I’ve ever photographed: a bee farm!

We had such a wonderful time at their Oakland engagement session (they were the engagement session giveaway winners), and I was so stoked when they asked me to be their wedding photographer as well. Julio and his family own a honey business (called Joe’s Honey), and it was only fitting that they got married on their friend’s bee farm. I’ve never seen so honey bees up close before! I was a little nervous to photograph Julio and his grandpa in a bee swarm (they said that the bees were totally harmless in that moment), but it wasn’t too bad - these little bees are quite precious!
