Engagement Photos in San Francisco’s Marin Headlands

Wind, Sun & Cliffside Magic

Cathy and Justin were looking for a dramatic cliff feel for their engagement session—and the Marin Headlands delivered. This part of the San Francisco coast is stunning in any weather, but we lucked out with strong sun and breezy golden hour light.

We started the session up high, capturing panoramic views of the ocean, before hiking down to a small, quiet beach.

Rom-Com Vibes on the Coast

We frolicked in the water, climbed rocks, and ran through the sand. Picture engagement photos in San Francisco that feel like they belong in a romantic comedy—that’s Cathy and Justin. Their chemistry, energy, and full-hearted joy were a dream to photograph.

Brave the Wind, Get the View

After wrapping up at the beach, we hiked back up to a cliff area. The wind was wild, but the view was so worth it. Every windswept shot felt dramatic and authentic—exactly what they envisioned.

Hot Pot to Celebrate

We ended the day with hot pot (the perfect reward for surviving a chilly beach session). Cathy and Justin, thank you for being so adventurous and down for anything—I had the best time. I can’t wait for your Park Winters wedding this December!
